What put me off were the fucking abysmal graphics and lack of any spritework, along with the total laziness behind it essentially being a port of a 15 year old game with no additions. Like at least it might not be as bad as modern Pokémon by virtue of being so close to the original, but I have zero incentive to buy it because I have the originals and they don't look like ass. Twice the cost of the original plus an online subscription fee, what a fucking joke.
It's at the point where I think if they do change anything to match Platinum, it'll be sticking to its more linear structure.
