But I expected them to addirittura side quests, dungeons and other activities to do around, not just Wander here and there to get to nowhere.

SwSh got revealed in February and released in November and when it was released it was the fucking same as trailer

I am afraid that by Game Freak's policy this will Be the final look

Youre building the first Sinnoh Pokédex because in the trailer they say Sinnoh is currently uncharted territory.

That being said, it’s clearly based on Breath of the Wild, meaning there will be side quests up the ass sprinkled about. We already know the game has riding Pokémon, climbing mountains, and flying, and the player can get hurt by Pokémon, so there’ll probably be a stamina system for the MC and cooking will be a part of gameplay. It’s Pokémon so even though there aren’t Gyms, you are obviously aren’t the only person exploring the whole of Sinnoh, there will be other people out there too that will want to battle you if you get in their way. And there’s a story so points of interest will be there. Expect all 3 Great Lakes, Great Marsh, Sendoff Spring, Snowpoint Temple, etc.

Probably linear fetch quests with no variation. The game won't actually be open world in the slightest and Poketards will say it's the best implementation of the open world genre since the Wild Area.

That's going to be the vast majority of quest types. Maybe occasionally you'll get evolution quests.

Because you aren’t going to spend the entire game just catching Pokémon. There has to be a reason to move you forward towards Mt. Coronet and eventually Spear Pillar. The game literally looks like a BOTW Pokémon skin, so why wouldn’t you assume there would be side quests? Especially when USUM and SM had side quests all over the place.

If there isn’t a Pokémon League, then there are no Gyms, so there needs to be other things to do. It’d be dumb to NOT expect side quests.

SwSh was rushed but it still had side quests. There was a letter you had to deliver from somebody in Hammerlocke to somewhere else and the Rotom Rally. In isle of armor you had to chase the slowpoke, collect the mushrooms, go to points of interests, and find all the Diglet. In Crown Tundra you had all three Legendary quests and the Musketeer footprints.

I love how much hate for Legends is just "open world bad" without any real argument. Genshin Impact is one of the best games on the market right now and BotW is getting a sequel, of course GF is jumping on that bandwagon. Games like Elder Scrolls and Fallout are legendary for their content, have a little faith. They sacrificed remakes to another company to spend more resources on this, it can't be that bad
