Is it me or do these games sound more like remasters than actual remakes? They literally said they faithfully reproduced the original story and world.

They aren't remakes, they're not even remasters. They're literal ports, but with features REMOVED.
I guarantee we'll be seeing "The Battle Zone project has started!"
Look at how well RB > FRLG and GS > HGSS and RS > ORAS went, then look at this literal downgraded port.

I actually dont mind the Chibi art style. I'm glad they arent in the hideos SWSH graphics. For sure copping this in November
