You just know they'll fuck up the mountain, That was a major issue for them in DPPt and why gen 5 and later have much more linear routes. I'm betting on the routes to snowpoint will be simplified in some way as well

I'm sure GameFreak knows about the backlash from fans about the lack of a Battle Frontier in ORAS.

Since this game is going to be graphically simple and already has everything laid out, ILCA can spend more of their time polishing the game and adding new content.

Nope. These remakes will introduce a surprising amount of new content, as well as everything from Platinum and it will all only be there because they skipped visuals. Sometimes the monkey's paw bends backwards.
