GameFreak deserves no benefit of the doubt but blindly assuming they're going to be shit based off a full 2 minutes of cinematics and a bad art style is such an idiotic take. If this is your baseline you were probably not going to buy the games anyway so your opinion is unimportant

You can't call others bootlickers just because they aren't cynical and bitter cunts like you all the time. Many of us are simply cautiously optimistic because of how much SwSh burnt us out, but there are things in this game that have shown GameFreak has listened to criticism. Things like no Kanto starters being forced into the spotlight, the game being more open than linear hallways and Pokemon actually moving in battle.
