>>46376989They could've consolidated development and created a Sinnoh remake that has the best of both worlds; new, updated character designs, full model characters unlike these crappy chibis we got, larger towns, cities and route scale, an Arceus episode that is part of the story like Delta Episode, an added Battle Frontier from Platinum and more.
It quite literally could have been the greatest Pokemon game ever, even surpassing HeartGold/SoulSilver. Instead, we got two indecisive, half assed, identity lacking 'games' that won't satisfy either group of the fandom. One is a 1:1 remake with no new content added, perhaps even lacking some of the original features, the other is an empty """""open world"""""" glorified wild area with slightly better graphics than SWSH, shitty performance, no charm from the original Pokemon games and probably no new towns, just a barren land with 5 hours of story content max.
It's fucking over, Pokemon is dead. They ruined SInnoh remakes, something which most people thought would be the absolute focal point of the presents, instead it was just an appetizer for their crappy botw knockoff.
