I understand why they did this. I truly do.
They wanted to try something new with the Arceus game, both for the novelty and as training for Gen 9.
But they also didn't want to alienate those who simply wanted to see modern-day Sinnoh again, as well as new players who didn't grow up with Gen 4, who were yet to be introduced to Sinnoh.
So they decided to focus on the more "ambitious" game, while handing the "regular" remake to another company.

But WHY did it have to be so ugly and introduce NOTHING new?
WHY give to a company that literally never made a game before?

I'm not even angry, I'm just sad.
