>>46380169It makes zero sense to hire a "dev team" that has literally never made a game by themselves before for your highly anticipated remakes, a normal company would have seen this inexperienced dev team try to use the shitty chibi style and bail immediately, GF sticking with it is proof that they know the games will sell regardless of quality.
Also trying to use "we have a good relationship with them" as an argument makes no sense either. Chunsoft, HAL, Capcom and Namco have all developed Pokemon spinoffs in the past, not to mention the fact that Pokemon is literally an SSS Tier IP and they have all off the resources they could want from big daddy Nintendo.
The only logical reason GF chose this no-name studio to make the remake is because they know any other dev will beat them at their own game and they were desperate to make Legends look good.
