Every old remake had all Pokémon from the same gen.
What's the point of the remake if there's no Pokémon from gen 5 and on ?
Only the fairy type will be new...

Tbf when Bank and Home had all sorts of fuckery around the time Ultra Sun/Moon came out, I moved every single one of my prior gen mons into my physical copy of Sun. I keep that cart locked away in three increasingly large safeboxes in the deepest part of my closet. If I ever feel lonely, I open that save up and say hi to my partner mons from when I was a child up til Sun. I skipped Let's Go and SwSh, so I haven't added any new mons to the family since I conglomerated everyone.
Here's to hoping every game from here on is dogshit so I never get stuck in your position.

Yeah well I got my failsafe too: hacked 3DS, I saved all my mons with Checkpoint before sending them to Home so I'm good.
But I still had a little faith, now I know GF will never do it again.

I transferred all my excesses to Home and refinished by Living Dex without ever owning SwSh or even a Switch.
Why keep the jank that just lived in your boxes?
I do keep my Gen7 Living Dex on cart, as well as all my teams through the generations that I transferred up.
