It has different content and it's not really something you can "count". Emerald fans just think the content exclusive to Emerald is way better than the content exclusive to ORAS.

Oras is in a weird position where it has things that Emerald didn't have, yet those aren't exclusive to Oras either such as megas or wifi.
The way I see it Emerald's revisions over the original games are better than Oras'

Nobody but braindead drooling tards wanted a 1:1 remake, there's literally no point to it and especially more so if they cut out the Platinum stuff. At least ORAS made a few major changes to the map, added megas, trainer customization and etc, keeping some of the feel of the original game while building up on it. This is what people wanted, minus the cutting shit from Emerald part. Here it just looks like we're getting DP again but in 3D and for 60$, what's the point when Platinum exist already?

HGSS proved that they could still make remakes similar to what people loved about the originals, but still somewhat substantial additions with little removals.

Yet ORAS for some reason didn't carry over anything from Emerald and now the DPPT remakes looks like they are going to play it 100% safe and probably not change much at all while looking like a mobile game.

What happened?
