Now, I haven't bought a p*kemon game since s/m but even to a doomer like me this looks leauges better than what was actually shown. How does such an unfinished crapheap of a trailer make it into a direct?

I wonder how much time it takes to do that in development? Is it simply "add this effect then done" or does one have to go through the models and add the effects?
Probably not going to buy the game, but I really hope for the game's sake that the "game footage is not final" is merely an understatement.

In Autodesk Maya, there’s an option to add a ‘toon line’ that you apply to the mesh. Assuming GF uses Maya, it can be easily done within a click of a button.
