Legends Starters

If Legends is supposed to be a single player game, do you expect the other starters to be gifted to you at some point? Or will this be the first game where your choice actually matters?

Sinnoh region is the evolution region
The shadows are new sinnoh evolutions for the starter pokemon using ancient method

Daikenki is a samurai and his helmet resembles a stag. An important part of japan samurai history
The horns are made from coral though
Bakfun becomes a more agile monster and not so bulky as the original
Junaipa resembles a tengu which is a bird like yokai popular in japan

Shitposting Aside, new regional evos for these starters would be amazing, specially since all of these are dogshit on a competitive level, they could breed more exposure in these Pokemon.

I think it’s the first game where starters are irrelevant. There is no pokedex, so theoretically you aren’t locked out of anything if you don’t have them all. I don’t know what GF will do but I’d say it’s reasonable enough to not expect being able to get them all, though something tells me we will at least by trading/bank.

I assume there’ll be a proto-Pokédex of some kind, since the whole goal of the game seems to be making the first Sinnoh dex. Maybe the starters won’t count since they’re imported? So getting all three isn’t necessary?

Basically what I think will happen. The three starting off are just to help you notarise the pokémon of Sinnoh, by the inference the professor picked them up while travelling elsewhere indicates these were notarised in their respective regions already and he took them along, knowing a diverse choice was best for starting out in a relatively wild region.

None of them are from one of my favorite starter lines, but this even beats gen1 and gen7 level 1 starter trios. The based energy is off the chart. I just hope their evolutions is different cause none of them live up to the base form.
