I liked D/P but Platinum was so much better.
I honestly don't understand why they would remake D/P with a third version then turn around and remake the original D/P again with a game with no Platinum features.

Platinum is my favorite Pokemon game. Why not put the snow on the ground and trees? Why not have Cyrus in the grass? Why not have the jackets or new clothes?
The game looks nice, but where is the Platinum stuff?

I have nostalgia for Platinum not Pearl.

There's reason enough. I'll still get the proper Game Freak Sinnoh game, sure. But I also want to see this place melt down in its own bile at the same point.

I think with the success of the DLC, they learned that “new content” (like new Pokémon) sells. I’m personally hoping for new cross-gen evolutions. We had tons back in the original, I’m hoping they make new ones, that would be a selling-point for me.

If anything, there will be new revisions and additions to the story, it won’t be a 100% faithful remake that’s for sure. The question is, would they go as far as introducing new Pokémon or bringing back Megas/introducing new Megas? If they do like money, that would literally print it.

none of the main characters didnt get a design, no new forms for legendaries, and it looks no different from the original game
I doubt that they would make any new revisions as much as I'd want them, maybe we could get Sinnoh forms of post-4 gen mons, hopefully we at least get more megas

The pokémon were a free update, you poorfag nigger. As well as the obvious Game Freak aren't making this game. This is getting shart out to fulfil the "Gen IV remake" bit, no more. Game Freak are concentrating on Legends, thus won't be supporting a game they expect more adults to ignore for the SP edition they're doing.

Game Freak staff didn't work on this, of course there's no redesigns. Hell, why you thinnk Masuda was there? He directed DP, thus wanted to make sure it stayed true tot hat (also why little Plat content will make the cut, he wasn't involved with directing that, in favour of working on Gen V instead.
