well based on it's pose it's not standing straight up. if it was straight up I feel it would definately be a giant....also makes a lot of sense for these to be Pokemon infused with plate energy. gives that Pokemon progression without needing gym leaders and the different form of battle with them might mean you can challenge them at any time.

makes sense I'm imagining this as a BOTW style game so it would have them roaming areas of sinnoh just fucking with other pokemon or messing with human settlements. I could see this game having shit loads of sidequests that involve catching certain pokemon or fighting pokemon that impede human progression

It is clearly Sirfetch, it's glowing yellow like it does when using it's Meteor Assault attack. You can clearly see the shiled and the sword has some kind of anime-ish motion blur effect as it charges.

The jap text tag near its HPbar lists it as a "Boss", it might be big because it's a Boss monster or because it's powerful aura as it charges the Meteor Assault is making it look huge.

This is pretty damning, although it seems strange considering both it and the deer-looking thing have details extraneous to their generic purpose (beard, ornate antlers, antennae/ribbons on the thing that rock climbs?)

It’s obvious to me these are three types of “mounts” in the game. One is just a normal speedy land mount, then a climbing mount (carrying trainer in box), flying mount (trainer is holding onto a hang glider thing)

Why would its height have anything to do with the fact that its an evo? Pretty much all the pokemon gets bigger after evolution.
Also could be some sort of totem pokemon, given the fact that apparently it is listed as a "boss" battle and the yellow energy (althought that's probably the result of some attack)
