You can catch spheal in legends even though its only post-game in dppt, so how big is this games dex going to be?

considering it has things from alola and unova, it might be a Gen 7 scenerio where everything is coded and a massive amount can be caught in-game

Probably a 400 pokemon dex like most recent games. Then we'll have 3 incompatible groups
>SwSh with ~650
>BDSP with ~200
>LA with ~400 (roughly Plat's dex + what was missing after SwSh DLC)
So all pokemon are in the generation, but not in each game.

Time travel mechanic to allow for all Pokemon to transfer (which will also play a huge role in the story)

The alola and unova starters are specifically said to be brought from other regions. They're not sinnoh native and they make that clear. I imagine they have expanded the dex somewhat however.

My guess is its going to be the platinum dex but with Pokémon from that you can only find in the post-game are added to the dex, minus the fossils and porygon line

Sirfetch is in one of the leaked screenshots and the world doesn't seem remotely close to following the world of Sinnoh in old games.

Do not assume this game's pokedex will match the old games.

Why would a Galar form Pokemon be in Sinnoh. I agree that the face kind of looks like Sirfetch'd so I will concede that it's probably an evolution for regular Farfetch'd

Remember that Sinnoh was infamous for appending evolutions to older mons
