This is why it was stupid to wish for a Sinnoh remake. The remakes have always been very faithful recreations, but they updated the graphics to suit the better hardware. But now that new gens are in 3D, they can't remake an old game to match the new one. And the DS was good enough that it would take actual effort to make a nicer looking 2D game. The delta from top-down on DS to top-down on Switch is small enough that a remake wasn't worth it.
