If you haven't figured out what this game is yet, let me explain everything we know about it so far:
>Monster Hunter clone in terms of structure
>Not true open world
>Village is base camp, take quests to identify "unknown Pokemon" which are boss fights
>Go out and find them
>Fight them
>Capture them to fill Pokedex, which caps out at around 50
>Arceus the equivalent of a Flagship monster
>It has a second form equivalent of Fatalis postgame boss
>Player has "HP"
>Dodge roll helps you avoid attacks from wild Pokemon
>Get hit three times and you get carted back to the village
>It's Eterna Village, btw
>There is another village, Celestic village, for late game quests
>You can also just go out the gate and catch Pokemon
>Can throw Pokeballs and use items such as nets, traps, etc
>Throwing a Pokeball with one of your party members in it will either start a battle or let you interact with it
>Can return it whenever
>Battles are semi-real time, once an attack connects you can choose your own
>Yellow Pokeball Pokemon return from Sun/Moon
>It's fuckin weird
This is the new standard, get used to it.
