I will say, I enjoy Clover. The humor isn't always perfect, but, it's a good hack that respects you as a player. It's hard as balls, but it's rewarding to beat it.

Up until you get past mt. moot it just feels like a reskinned FRLG (which is what it started out as). But once you get past that it gets really good

Unbound did a lot of things better. I love how its not pointless to walk into every house and talk to every NPC. Mission system was S tier in Unbound. Story was cringe tho

Also Gaia, Prism, Vega, and Procyon/Deneb (even when it's not even done yet) are far better romhacks than Clo*ver.

The game really bites in and runs after Mt. Moot, and from the Elite Four up until the end of postgame, it's the best pokemon hack.
