I could imagine someone like Dada the Zarude to call Coco his "Son" or just "Coco" because their relationship is of father and son. Hell even a more romantic relationship would apply an appropriate title or namesake, they may call their partner "Darling" or "'[Their Name]" or in case of japan they may add some honorific that symbolizes their relationship status as "more than friends".
