What is it with the staunchest of Pokémon defenders perpetually eating shit?

Were people supposed to be impressed by the announced games from Pokémon Presents? Let's make a couple of thing clear:
>Pokémon Snap is a novelty game that you'll all play for a few hours and let collect dust. It serves no purpose but heartless nostalgia.
>The issue with the Gen 4 remakes is not that they look ugly (which they do); the problem is that they are entirely unnecessary. The original games are fine as is, but Nintendo will not port those games over because they can't make money off them. Kanto/Johto remakes were entirely valid.
>Pokémon Legends Arceus was an embarrassing reveal, chock full of frame drops, unacceptably bad graphics, and an empty overworld. People thought it was "good" because it instantly drew comparisons to BotW, which people think is the second coming of Christ of gaming for various stupid reasons. The issues in this game are unacceptable for a game series of this size, scope, value, and influence. People convinced this is a pre-alpha version and that the final version will be substantially different are deluded. Smaller gaming franchises have done more with less...
As long as Pokémon shills and the masses eat up these half-baked games, Nintendo and Game Freak will continue to downgrade the quality and content of them. These shills are the worst offenders; they're blinded in their support of a corporation. If these deluded fans really cared about Pokémon, they'd be showing the franchise tough love and criticism for their bullshit. I already have copies of all the old games, so when DPPt inevitably reach $250+ on eBay because people realized the old games are superior, I won't have to worry.
