Why wouldn’t it be? Zubat’s line are bloodsuckers, meaning that they can transmit disease between species or give diseases from their own species to others, just like IRL vampire bats. They’re like mammalian mosquitos.

And? Rats are more notorious for plagues and you don’t see Rattata being poison type. There’s nothing relating to poison in Zubat’s dex description.

The point is that vampire bats and other bloodsuckers are actively snacking on tons of animals and spreading diseases between them.

And so what if Rattata isn’t Poison-type? Just means they decided to focus on non-diseased rats whilst Zubat is a bloodsucking bat as seen by its Dex entry

Yes, but Woobat isn't poison so I proved that bat pokemon don't have to be poisonous just because they are based on bats, so if someone wants to claim that, they should find any other relation, and I said there isn't any.
