Legends is what casuals have begged for like Decades, a seemingly Story Driven Action RPG in full 3D, but in being that it has also discarded the turnbased battle system and its complexity that is probably at least some part to why long time fans been sticking with the series, but that Casuals won't stop calling "Outdated"
Provided BDSP actually has some nice post-game features alá HGSS this could be Win-Win because the people who like the turn based and having a Post-Game get games like BDSP (Where the simpler graphics mean they can load it up with Battle Content) and Casuals gets their open world action adventure that they then drop after beating the story off. This is of course just a best-case scenario and it is far more likely shit will go awry for everyone involved.
