We didn’t get actual news for ORAS until like May. Remakes tend to have far shorter hype cycles than actual games because they have less contents to SwSh are

No I'm not. What was shown just a few days ago was NOT a teaser with just Dialga and Palkia. It was a full blown trailer. Absolutely no excuse to not include what new features will be in these DP remakes to make people interested.

Oh really? My bad, but the point still stands that remakes usually get revealed way later February and as such we shouldn’t be surprised they didn’t reveal much. We didn’t even get the box art.

I think the game isn’t going to be amazing, but I’m also expecting at least a bit more. Even if it’s at the same level as “ULTRA CHANGES”

I like being able to use my collection freely however I wish. Pokemon part of pokemon's appeal is having a customizable team this appeal is made even better by the addition of more pokemon.

Yes but they have to stretch the ad campaign out for almost a year. They can't show all of the changes and new stuff in the first trailer. Just like with SwSh, they'll drop a trailer every month or so to build up hype.
