Yes. They have to market these games for an entire year just like Sword and Shield.. How can they build hype if their ad campaign is just "Look! It's the exact same game from before. Shot for shot and word for word." They can get at most 3 trailers out of this before people lose interest.

Expect megas and for the box legends to get new forms at the very least.

It's Pokémon, people will mindlessly buy it no matter what. Sad to say but this franchise is fucking dead, we may actually get a good game once in a while but it'll be sandwiched between a ton of dogshit ones.

It’ll have the Plat Dex + Sylveon, and then the post-game has multiple episodes centred around different legends. You get Megas in the post-game.

They tend to reveal new forms in the reveal trailer, ala Groudon and Kyogre.
Don't get your hopes up, the fact they didn't even give new designs to Dawn/Lucas, hell the NPCs, don't expect anything new.

And each one of those games were completely different to their original, right down to character design.
BDSP so far is a 1:1 remake, right down to tile placement and design, characters are exactly the same, buildings are exactly the same, they showed nothing different to the originals and even states it was "Faithful" to the originals, meaning that it is the same game with slightly upgraded and disgusting design.

They revealed the Necrozma forms in the reveal trailer but not Ultra Necrozma. And they saved the new Ultra Beasts reveals for later as well as the anime to reveal Dusk Lycanroc

Yes, they showed off Dusk and Dawn Necrozma right away, they just never clarified whether they were new forms for Necrozma or Solgaleo and Lunala.
