This is my most nostalgic DPP theme.

For me, it's Route 225. Pearl was my first pokemon game, and I had no idea that the postgame even existed. I thought after beating Cynthia that it was the end of my game, so to me that theme symbolises how there's always another adventure. It's like the musical equivalent of waking up on a brand new day and walking outside ready to face the world.

That specific refrain is older than that. It originates with All the Young Dudes by Mott the Hoople, and was used in Telephone Line by Electric Light Orchestra. Certain refrains just sound good to the human ear, so it's only natural that they get recycled.
