The top-down chibi is a boon because if it's chibi it can follow the 2d level design without compromises, which ruined ORAS, and would have ruined DP remakes as Sinnoh's dungeons are a high point of the region.
BDSP is being developed in the vein of a 2D pokemon game intentionally, and if you don't see how that's a good thing you don't belong on /vp/, /r/pokemon would be more your speed.
