I mean Tajiri got a co-director's credit for Crystal, he did no actual work on Crystal, admitted it was all Masuda organising the team to get it done even. STILL got a co-director's credit, just like Masuda getting one here. I mean, if he'd wanted to, he'd have made LGDP himself with Game Freak and the team he'd used for LGPE, but Game Freak wanted to go in the direction of Sword and Shield and the "fans" didn't want that for the remake. Monkey pawed, bitcch. Should have just accepted a remake in core engine like ORAS, HGSS and FRLG, may have gotten what you were looking from the remake then.
