Holy fuck, this. I don't know how anti-open world fags fail to grasp this.
If the meat of the game is going to be sparse, at least in an open world you can tackle it on your own when you want, not herded around by NPCs.

I find it so damn infuriating that everyone thinks the remakes are gonna be soulless based on looks alone. For all we know they packed tons of stuff into that game like they did with hgss. Hgss was criticized at the time for not using moving sprites
