Gen 3 was great for introducing many 3 mon power lines, has it honestly happened since?

Gen 4 went back and created them for old mons

Zangoose and Seviper are a cool idea of mons with an eternal blood feud between eachother but the most they ever did with it was give Zangoose a shit hidden ability that forces it to suicide with Toxic Orb, and XY horde battles where the hordemons fight among eachother
