Not that I can recall. Pt was pretty much a straight upgrade. Even the character redesigns and UI are better, while it's often a sidegrade at best, like in Emerald.

Cynthia's Garchomp being lvl 66 so it filtered even more kids
Also it doesn't force you to go to Iron Island to get Strenght, like what's even the point of calling it optional you might as well do it while you're there

Her Garchomp in DP is timid nature and can’t touch Bronzong. In Plat it has fire coverage and is a neutral nature. Subtracting 4 levels doesn’t really matter when everything else about it is a straight upgrade mechanically.
