At one point I had come to a point in whether or not it's a good idea to make sex trivial because once you trivialize it, it loses that extra bit of fun, that spark of naughtiness and taking back your power.
However, the alternate, this culture shows that in suppressing it, you risk turning it into an obsession to be exploited. It has also showcased its sheer futility as in suppressing sex, it simply comes out in other forms be it our songs, art, interests, and even our designs wind up being largely phallic because we have suppressed it, we have become a civilization defined by it.
I don't know fully what the former culture can bring, bit I've seen the latter and it never works.
