this is another way that /vp/ misunderstands the mentality of most people that play pokemon games
to the kids who make up the majority of people playing the game, they dont care about getting to fight more trainers, they just want to get to the leader faster and beat them with their overleveled starter
at least there is a way to fight more trainers if you want instead of just grinding in the grass
