"Faithful remake" fags are the definition of revisionists. People shat on ORAS for removing the Emerald content like the Battle Frontier while adding more handholdy shit.
I like how you fucks all sidestep HGSS, which is commonly referred to as one of if not the best Pokemon games because it properly upgraded Johto and added more stuff on top of that, all without skimming on things like the Battle Frontier or graphics.

Visuals aren't the only question, though. Pokemon games are basically the same sprites or models. I'm not interested in Brilliant/Shining but on paper they can still be great in all the places that count.

I think its a bit gay to complain about this shit the way most here tend to. Like, GF will always go profit first, and complaining about their decisions wont change that. But even when they go for broke, schedule two Sinnoh games, they are the devil. The outsourced one is a faithful remake of DP, looking the way most people like pokemon because SOUL, despite the chibi style. While the other is free roam, open world and trying something new. GF literally did bith things people want and are hated.

Maybe pokemon just wont be everyone's autistic wet dream. It is just a fucking game, made by money focused people.

All of you retards are still missing my point, HGSS is regarded highly because it added to the game with things like following Pokemon, Pokeathelon and a revamped Kanto, ORAS is shat on because it removed content from the game.

People claiming everyone wanted 1:1 is being purposely obtuse because they're deliberately ignoring why people like one thing and dislike the other. If ORAS had the Battle Frontier and other Emerald content people wouldn't have been as harsh on the game. Nobody had issue with ORAS or HGSS' graphics, no one wanted this ugly chibi shit, you brainless drones.

HGSS was able to contain all the content from Crystal and more, so why couldn't the 3DS games do the same? The fact that we don't even know if BDSP is going to have all the Platinum improvements is sickening.

It's literally not based on it. Even the story is entirely from RB and not from Emerald leading to Rayquaza getting a whole new lore afterward. Steven is still the champ etc. Play the fucking games.

Okay? HGSS was based on GS and still had all the additions from Crystal, there's no real reason why ORAS couldn't do the same other than the fact that GF is lazy and has a fanbase of people who will defend them doing retarded moves like this.

I'd say more than a handful, pic related isn't in Gold or Crystal, neither are things like a playable female character. Some of the available Pokemon are different though.

I'm not seeing your point asking this, it's different in HGSS compared to Crystal since they add more scenes with Eusine, but its still different from GS where Suicine is just another roaming Pokemon with no story attached. It's funny that you bring this up since ORAS straight up removes the roaming Lati twins in exchange for Steven just giving them to you halfway through the game.

They moved suicune to postgame and forced the ho oh battle instead. Suicune is still a special encounter that doesnt run away like the other two do. Its not the same spot as crystal but it still kept the static suicune battle. Thats what fits the idea of remaking GS but keeping crystal elements.
