It looks like a mobile game, this was 100% going to be a mobile game at first.
The in battle scenes look worse then lets go.
Pokemon aren't to scale like in lets go.
The overworld is ugly as fuck.

This isn't a remake, it's a remaster.

I agree here, the overworld is fine but the hands and proportions are horrible, the in game trainers look too simplistic and the male trainer sprite looks like he has a bald spot he’s hiding under his hat and is lowkey 50 years old.

I agree, these visuals are worse so it's hard to call it a mastered version of the same game.

A REMAKE is like final fantasy remake, which completely changes key elements of the game but recreates it.

Do you know what remake and remaster mean? Remaster would be if you took the EXACT game from the DS, THE EXACT FUCKING THING, port it to switch, maybe make it widescreen, but then nothing more. The exact same pixels, same music, same everything. Just a fucking port. Only make it run on a newer modern system. Remakes are making everything again from the bottom. It might look like an old Pokémon game but in 3d, no how matter how much that annoys you, it's still a fucking REMAKE. Learn to use words right you fucking human slug.

Theyre literally just ports with updated graphics and audio though? The maps are literally identical to the originals as seen with all the invisible walls in Spyro 1 reignited that used to be textured in the original Spyro 1

I'd be pretty surprised if the Spyro games were completely mechanically identical, but I never looked into them. I know for a fact the Crash games aren't ports in any sense of the word, despite how closely they tried to stick to the original there are gameplay differences brought about as a result of the games being remade. Painstakingly recreating the original game as 1:1 as you can doesn't make the game not a remake, it just makes it a faithful remake.

Remake literally means making the game again from scratch, which is, like it or not, exactly what they did.
Remaster is what they did for Skyward Sword, the exact same game with some tweaking in the graphics and controls.
