A question, how do the Dreepy that Dragapult uses when she/he attacks with Dragon Darts work?

Are they always the same 2 Dreepy? Are they single use and are new ones always generated? Are they illusions? Do it get them from eggs?

I imagined that it's the same two. They get launched, explode on imoact, but survive because they're ghosts and return to Dragapult. Drakloak and Dragapult probably find their Dreepys the same way Magnemite does, where in canon they must actually find them but in-game they just appear.

I mean Dreepy are supposed to be missiles and the game animation shows them blowing up. I figure they re-materialize afterwards.
