It's true. The fanbase has been in a state of dread over the inevitable Sinnoh remakes. Fear over how much content will be dropped, speculation on how Coronet will be destroyed because of SM, Underground being gone, etc. I feel that putting time into trying to recreate Sinnoh in SwSh's style would have led to a lot of content being dropped. With the new artstyle basically copying the originals, we already know things like the Underground is going to be in. Still waiting to see how Contests and the Battle Tower/maybe even Frontier will be handled, but I believe we're getting more content than we would have otherwise.

From my point of view, I think this will be a repeat of ORAS:
1. DP remakes with Platinum content taking the backseat / postgame or not existing at all
2. Less content by the virtue of 1:1 faithful remakes of DP instead of Platinum. This means the aforementioned Platinum storyline (Distortion World included and all that), Battle Area, Battle Frontier, move tutors, etc.
