Gonna ditch masquerain and espeon. I dont know which flying type I should use. My eyes are on Noctowl, Skarmory, or Gyarados. I think I might add a Torkoal or a Qwilfish for my fire/water types but I'm open to suggestions for any mons

I’m thinking of playing a game but don’t know what to play. I’m deciding on either Platinum with either Empoleon or Torterra, B2W2 Fire Mono (what a coincidence) in Challenge Mode, or a Shield Nuzlocke.

I’m likely going to use ho-oh for my last Pokémon just so I can have Fly, the type restriction makes me use Pokémon I’ve never used before and adds some challenge

Just beat the League.
The whole E4 was pretty challenging except Lucian that let me setup on his Mr. Mime.
Cynthia beat me twice and the third time I got very lucky with Chatot's Sing and barely beat her using a revive on Rapidash to finish her Roserade.
Now that I think about it, if I hadn't used one turn for a Revive Lickilicky would have beaten Roserade but well…

I didn't remember Platinum to be such a good game honestly, and Sinnoh is a great region.

Prismatic Moon, just made it to the second island.
Team is changing constantly though. Infernape is the only one I'm keeping long-term for certain, and I have a shiny Swinub in the box ready to replace Mudbray when it's ready to evolve.
Thinking Shiftry for my last member right now, evolution stones are right around the corner

I've never really used it before because of the stupidly late evolution, but this hack makes it a friendship evolution at night, so you can get it pretty much immediately after the 1st trial

Playing Prism, I'm 5 gyms in.
Just got to the part where I was temporarily given an Aggron to deliver to an injured person who needed it to carry them to safety, found a Pallette member in the spot it opened up who nearly whooped my ass so I backed out of the cave and healed up and now I'm just fishing with my new good rod to see what's in the pond and in the ocean nearby and wondering if I should poke around the cave more or go north and see if the way's open.

Fuck me this is fun.

Pupitar 34 (Larvitar line is the starter and has shoter level ups, it will be fully evolved at 40)

Drifloon 39 (He's a fucking beast in this game, I usually keep all Pokemon in a 1-2 level range but he's just stomping everyone I can't not use him)

I think I'll catch a gyarados then, especially since it gens gen 6 moves + phys/special split. It'll have good synergy with graveler/golem too and could sweep with minuns helping hand. Now I just need to figure out 3 more members
