I still don't understand how you retards don't realize that they're gonna add every Pokemon back into the game by the end of the generation and the only reason they were cut from Swish to begin with was incompetence/rushed production. Clearly when the DLC was announced with FREE UPDATES to add old Pokemon back (which is something GF never does, they never updated XY to include ORAS megas for example) that retards would have caught on, but nope.

Whichever game between BDSP or PLA, or maybe both, is compatible with Swish/Home will have the missing Pokemon back, guaranteed.

No they won't. That Piplup is blatantly not using the same textures and shadowmaps that SwSh uses. They are being rendered the same basic way GO uses them, meaning they're being reused cold turkey. They cannot be added to SwSh without clashing with the art style.

You're pretty wrong on that note then, and might realistically not even know what a shadowmap is, because one could tell they use them hard from the very first footage of the game. Most games with a cel-shaded-ish cartoony flair have to rely on them to make sure shapes are displayed properly no matter the angle.

When have new games ever increased the dex of an old game?
DP didn't get Pt formes.
XY didn't get ORAS' megas.
SM didn't get USM's new mons.
SWSH won't be expanded by anything BDSP or Legends do. SWSH is done. SWSH is retired as of the release of BDSP.
The ending dex of SWSH is whatever is available now.

Here's my hypothesis on the Pokedex moving forward.

Pokemon Legends
>Moving forward, this single player branch of the Pokemon mainline is going to be obviously working off of a limited dex
>For one, a lot of Pokemon will not canonically make sense to appear in the distant(ish) past
>This also gives them a chance to better flesh out the roster of available Pokemon with what they'll need for a more advanced style of game (Reacting to stimuli in the overworld, all the amie/camp style functionality is likely to remain with the Legends branch of the mainline, riding Pokemon, model overhauls like Cyndaquil and Oshawott have received, anything they'll need for the new style of battles; I'm sure not every attack animation used for XY-SWSH is conducive to the new style where Pokemon are going right up to their opponents to attack)
This is where a lot of the "boundary pushing" ideas from the last 3 gens are going to end up.

ICLA/Top-Down Pokemon
>Moving forward the second part of the mainline is a traditional game that goes hard into classic elements like a top-down camera view and small overworld representations of the world
>Because of the undemanding nature of these games (Idle, attack, and hit animations are basically all you will need for each Pokemon in this framework) these are the games where it will make sense to bring back the full National Dex

This may take 50 years, it may take 5, but it always happens. See: Zelda's run of mediocrity post MM until BOTW, Sonic's run of shit post S3 until Mania, etc. The pendulum will always swing the other way. By 2030 Pokemon will be a good franchise again.

Anon, the only people who will see the greatest success in Game Freak are those who understand the franchise. That means those who know it's mainly a kid's thing (that's why they're makinng Legends after all, an older-focused game, while the core games continue to mop up the kids every Gen).
If anything, the paradigm shift of GF passing off a remake ironically reinforces their current model, they no longer have to waste their own studio time getting them done, meaning they can simultaneously shit out a GO-clone/remake and a Legends game each Gen on top of the OG release and DLC packs.

It's obvious they won't change the region but I'm still waiting for evidence they will add new areas or buildings or take SOME liberties to make the games feel fresh. Looker was just some postgame side content. Episode Delta on the other hand was a continuation of the main story. The Hall of Fame credits even say "To Be Continued" while teasing the Episode.
