Let's be honest here, if the Sinnoh remakes have good battles and postgame content, I think the lame art style of the overworld can be tolerated. Music is also another important factor, if the game has good music then it can numb the pain of the terrible art style. I'm not happy with the remakes right now, but if the core gameplay (battling, building competitive pokemon teams, completing the pokedex) is good, then the remake is decent and we should consider ourselves lucky that they didn't make it just as bad as Sword and Shield. I know everyone's unhappy right now, but I just want to give an honest and reasonable opinion.
