because we know it will be like the size of the Great Plateau and there won't be much to do. i love BotW but i have no faith in GF. at the same time, i do like that they are shaking up the formula, hopefully the improvements to the battle system (seamless battles etc) and the QoL features like riding, climbing, and flying will be added to future games.

There are a couple reasons why they could be in shadow, like it could be proof of concept image and they don’t have models/designs locked in yet or they’re keeping tightlipped about new mons which they’ve done in the past because there’s several hundred people working on the games and they want to limit leaks

Sinnoh is huge lol I doubt it’ll be the size of the Great Plateau. The Wild Area, Isle of Armor, and Crown Tundra were all really decently sized.

The wild area exists, anon. It can have way more than 6 Pokemon on screen at a time with minimal impact on fps.

Did you see the scene where the trainer commands the pokemon to attack? The artstyle and graphics there also look great. But expecting BoTW graphics are out of question. Zelda engineers are wizards and have much longer time.

I'm optimistic. I love Sinnoh, and I can always replay Diamond or Platinum if I want the original experience. This looks like it might genuinely offer something new.

No hype, but personally I don't mind exploration-focused games with small rewards where most of the game is just experiencing the world. I'm weird, but I don't care.

I haven't made the decision yet. It looks like a neat concept. I hope they'll pull it off. Until I see more than a few clips, I'll wait and give it a solid "maybe." No point in being a doomer or consoomer at this stage. If it turns out to be shit, I won't buy it. Simple as that.

if they are actually going to let you fly around with various flying types instead of one Ride mon like Zard in SM/USUM they might have added the glider so it doesn't look fucking bizarre when you fly around using a Starly or whatever.
Not that a tiny Starly carrying a carriage doesn't look strange, but it would be less strange than the PC sitting on a tiny bird.
