Never have because Gen 3 and 4 EV training always seemed like a pain, let alone IV breeding.
But it's always nice to have the option of the challenge, the remakes likely will only just have the Tower like D/P, haha.

Gen 4's ok. Get the power items (gotta beat palmer at least like twice with in-game team or also with an EV trained team after you get just the ATK, SPA, and SPE items after like one Palmer win and some other attempts). Magikarp trainer in D/P gives you 48 EV's each battle for whatever stat with the power item at least (60 if speed).

It's grueling but more rewarding.

I managed to get the Arcade, Hall, and Castle prints. However I only remember ever battling Thornton and, dunno if I won or not, and I’ve never gotten to Palmer before.

I hope the remakes include this just so I can have another shot

I did Open Level for a long time and got as high as 48 once. But I've only been past Set 5 three times.
I started doing Level 50 recently just for variety and because swapping provides more of an advantage there.
If I don't get it soon, I'll probably just go for RNG Manip.

Yes but spending 200 hours fucking around in the one where you select randomized Pokemon and can take pokemon from people you beat more than justifies it. That mode is insanely fun. I wouldn't even care if the rest didn't come back.
