Riding Pokémon, Flying with Pokémon, Following Pokémon, Crafting, an actual consistent weather system, interaction with the environment, mini bosses, Pokémon actions in the overworld, and an actual focus on exploration so there are things to do in their than mindlessly catching Pokémon. And there has to be unique ways in catching these Pokémon since battling isn’t a requirement anymore. There’s gotta be puzzles or requirements you have to fulfill before a Pokémon appears before you.
I’m more cautiously optimistic than balls to the walks excited because GF can flub this opportunity so bad. Even though they literally work right next door to Monolith Soft and the Zelda team now, I can fully imagine GF not seeking help in fleshing out 1800s Sinnoh.
