I know this is just a pokemon thread. But the fact it's happening in every fictional medium (Games, TV Shows, Movies, Comics etc) is extremely alarming to me. It's like I'm living in the fall of Rome in real time but it takes years/decades until everything just falls to shit.
It's not just something like depression clouding my view either. I've had that in the past and feel fine. Still enjoy nature and family/friends.
