I skipped them because while I enjoyed Sun I wasn't interested in a replay. The game felt pretty definitive.

Don't forget that they get rid of Sun and Moon's cringeworthy story for something more light-hearted and less self-serious.

Unfortunately it has just as many if not more cutscenes and the region is still a railroaded theme park ride, so it's knocked way the fuck down because of that.

It's the second best 3DS game right after ORAS (which is the best purely out of RSE's merits), much better than SM and XY

No, it was cringe and took itself too seriously. Lillie is awful. USUM doesn't take itself as seriously so it's marginally better in terms of story.

Fuck the cutscenes, let me play the goddamn game.

Exp All + Curve is actually far more balanced than Exp Share + No curve. I’m playing through all the old games and it’s incredible how easily they’re broken just by pooling all the exp into one Pokemon. In GS by the time I got the 4th gym I had a lv37 Typhlosion just by battling all the Trainers. In USUM that’s impossible because high leveled Pokemon get extremely little exp.

Enemies might be a bit stronger but we have tons of options to make the game piss easy. But it's fine because you can adjust the difficulty to your liking.

Maybe if they stopped adding horrible Pokémon they wouldn't have to get rid of the older and cooler ones.

I haven't gone that far so I don't know.

You can say that about all third version but combined with the bad replayability I couldn't finish UM and felt like I just bought and played the wrong version.

Am I the only one that's having to force myself to trudge through SM because it's not enjoyable yet? I'm at the second trial and I only barely just found a second pokemon I actually want to use on my team that isn't my starter. The starting selection of pokemon available sucks.
