You want it to keep the triple damage as well? Because that’s not healthy for the meta. And should it be applied, and if it proves to be massively helpful to Inteleon that it overtakes Landorus in usage, it would make Rillaboom and Water Absorb pokemon overly-abundant.

Yes, when they nerfed crits, they also nerfed Sniper. A Sniper crit only hits slightly harder than a non-crit after one Swords Dance/Nasty Plot.

If it did that, Inteleon would still be worse than the other 2 starters. Also, Sniper only makes crits deal 2.0x damage instead of 1.5x damage, not even close to 3.0x

It as in the pokemon? Nothing can save it, and I have tried extensively.

Changing Sniper would not save it, because Inteleon's problem isn't it's ability, it's problem is it's stats. They tried to do "fragile but strong and fast" but were afraid of minmaxing it, so instead it's "fragile but not strong enough nor fast enough cuz we put a fair amount of it's BST into ATK"

It cannot be saved, it's fundamentally broken.

Actually, sorry, that's wrong, I used a mid-tone between the two blues instead of the existing blues that had no business being there.

Is it the contrast between the white and the blue? The goal was to make it look like an actual liizard design rather than a scuba suit with gloves.

Regardless, you like the base design, so I simply don't trust your opinion. It's better than the base as far as I'm conserned, but still bad.

You seem confused by the notion of what is happening here? Yes. Everything with Sniper that doesn’t have something like Tough Claws or Swift Swim is a lot better now, especially Drapion
Inteleon?
No, Inteleon will still suck, but it will be better. The problem with Inteleon is that its movepool sucks dick and only has 1 STAB option. It gets hard walled by most Water bulky types, which so many teams will have, even in lower tiers.

Unseen Fist is arguably what pushed Urshifu over the edge, and this version of Sniper is essentially Unseen Fist for all moves, combined with infiltrator as well.
Making it so your Choice Specs moves can’t be scouted for is such a good trait, and it’s much better than doing slightly more damage on a 1/24 chance.

There are plenty of faster things + rillaboom, and don't forget it would only have a single good move in snipe shot
Could be cool since it would smother stall, maybe a solid pick
It would be worse than Urshifu S still, and could compete with Urhsifu Triple
Then again ferrothorn cannot be touched by it

Long Reach as a counterpart to Tough Claws even plays well with Decidueye's mixed stats, because physical has moves like Spirit Shackle (obviously), Seed Bomb and Poltergeist, while special obviously benefits for all its moves.

Make Scope Lens boost crit rate by 2 stages, but ONLY for Special moves.
Make Razor Claw boost crit rate by 2 stages, but ONLY for Physical moves.
There, Sniper is saved for any Pokemon with a high-crit STAB.
If you wanted to save Inteleon specifically, you'd give it Nasty Plot, Hidden Power, and a shitton of things that get blocked by Bulletproof including Searing Shot through a limited-time Japan-exclusive event.
