Are we ever getting regular remakes like FRLG/HGSS/ORAS again?
With every generation, the time between the original game and the remake gets longer (8 years between RG and FRLG, 10 between GS and HGSS, 12 years between RS and ORAS, 15 years between DP and BDSP). I think it's getting to a point where a good part of the current fanbase didn't even play the original games.
What if instead of making remakes for older fans of the early games, they start doing these glorified ports for the younger fans who didn't play them?
