Remove double Protect. Yes, it's only a small chance but it can still happen and bails out people in both singles and doubles. If you used Protect once successfully the next Protect will always fail. No more 1/3 bullshit chance to double Protect with some annoying bullshit because you don't have another play to make so you might as well gamble.

See the difference between Close Combat and Focus Blast.
Close Combat makes you assess the risk of lowering your defenses, while Focus Blasts makes you cross your fingers and hope the game doesn't arbitrarily decide to fuck you over.

Miss what? What the fuck are you talking about? It’s not an attacking move that requires targeting anything, it’s a move that the Pokémon uses on itself, so how the fuck CAN it miss? It’s essentially just the Pokémon using it’s Pokémon magic to make itself invulnerable to damage, you might as well be bitching that moves like Sword Dance and Rest never miss.
