It is too much govt control. It would have to maybe just mandate a store to limit sales of a product that massively spikes in sales and can be proved as being scalped. But even then it opens a lot of doors that may not help in the long run

Someone who has hundreds of old cards, including holos, at least 1 original charizard and some first editions here and there OR someone who has a shit ton of new gen cards (with like 20 of the new Charizards and full art cards.

Same. Until recently the only Evolutions holos I had were 2 Clefairy I pulled basically consecutively. That said I got decently lucky with EXes, only fullart I got was Pidgeot though.

The past must give way in order for there to be a future in any hobby, so I prefer newer cards.
Growing up as a gen wunner I can say that with a few exceptions overall card art has only improved over the gens, and it's unfair they get mogged over by relics.

Just a heads up to anyone interested in prism star cards, for some reason jirachi is in very light supply on a lot of sites compared to most the others (arceus is kind of low, but not as bad a jirachi). It's still relatively cheap, so if you're worried about prism stars going up in value or getting bought up soon by encroaching "investors" or hoarders, I'd grab at least jirachi soon, and maybe arceus.

I have a bad feeling that the alternate full-arts are going to be sold for exorbitant prices. For example, Full-art Skyla cards from Shining Fates are going for an average price of $95USD here. For battle styles I want to have as much as I can as a safety net in case the individual card prices get retarded.

Jirachi is 5$ and arceus is 8$. What? Idc if that is 200% up from before that's still cheap as hell. All I'm saying is tcgp and T&t combined have less than 10 jirachi and maybe about 20 combined arceus compared to 50+ per site for the others.

If you only care about the rainbow pikachu I wouldn't open it. It's like 1/1000 booster pack pull, which is very rare (the CPath and SFates zards are around 1/300).

VV has some very good cards other than the rainbow chonkachu though so if you're tryin to collect some cool cards it's a great set to open. just keep in mind this makes it very collectable as sealed they're already selling for 200+

The Ralts and Kirlia cards are super cheap so I'll probably get all of them, but some of the Gardevoir cards are too expensive for the art quality, like this Delta Species one for example. Just a shoddy 3D model with flames and a black background, don't think I want to spend $75 on that. Then you have cards like the one on the right where the artist made Gardevoir look super fucking weird. I guess it just comes down to if I like the art or not more than anything

Nonono it makes perfect sense, gallade is a powerful mon in game (still medicham is better, even though you can balance phys and spec better with gallade) but it's design is bad. The waist looks weird and the legs look off too, it was like they had no idea what to do with the lower half of the body since gardevoir had the skirt to cover it.

Yup, and I still am working on my playing card deck collection as well, which I'm looking at right now a 60 count cart with 10-20$ decks in it. I remember back when I could still buy ex and hgss packs for fairly cheap but I had no interest in singles so I only bought sealed, hell then even the later WotC sets weren't crazy expensive (25-50$ packs). Wish I wasn't young and dumb and would've just bought singles though.
