Unfortunately I might. This will probably change if the game really does turn out to be as unambitious as I expect it to be but so far it looks like the game went for a heavy change in overall gameplay that I've been wanting since forever so I might buy it since they probably won't keep any well-received changes for the next mainline game anyway.

Maybe. I like the open world, but if it's let's go tier motions control that's a big nope. Also unsure on the single player rumor. I don't battle anyway, but always loved being able to trade with friends. If have to see more stuff I like in the game to be willing to sacrifice trading. If there's following pokemon of many types I'm in.
