>>46469550To be fair, it makes sense. Kanto/Johto were the only regions where the original Meowth would spawn wild on normal routes, otherwise you'd need to trade. I think Mirage Island could give a Persian in ORAS, but that's kind of a unique case.
Once that was pointed out to me, I've warmed up to the idea of having a new regional Meowth in each gen.
